Steve və Diananın sakit və dinc ailə həyatı, yeni köçdükləri evdə baş verən paranormal hadisələrlə sarsılır. Üç uşaqlarından ən kiçiyi bir gecə evlərində sirli bir varlığın olduğunu kəşf edir və qəfil yoxa çıxır. Bundan sonra ailə, onları hədəf alan və geri çəkilmək niyyətində olmayan bir varlığın fərqinə varır. Keçmişi sirrlərlə dolu olan bu bölgədə, keçmişin dəhşəti yenidən canlanıb; hər birinin hazırlıqsız yaxalandığı bu mübarizədə artıq heç nə əvvəlki kimi olmayacaq.
