Tıxaclar baş alıb gedir. Şəhəri terror bürüyüb. Dükanlarda və restoranlarda müştərilərə hörmət qalmayıb. Böyük şəhərdə yaşamaq hər kəsi özündən çıxara bilər. Lakin Bill Foster özündən çıxmaqdan da betər bir vəziyyətdədir. İsti bir yay günündə, tıxacda qalan və fırın kimi qızmış avtomobilində evinə getməyə çalışan sıradan bir adam, maşınını yolun ortasında qoyub şəhərin dərinliklərinə doğru irəliləyərək xaos yaratmağa başlayır.
