Candy gəldikdən sonra tezliklə başa düşür ki, Dr. Kreis və qızı Karen-in istəyi ilə onun çatdırılma səfəri tez bir zamanda bitməyəcək. Dr. Kreis Candy-ni Susanna-nın Juliet rolunu almasından çox narahat olan Karen ilə tanış edir. Karen özünün daha yaxşı aktrisa olduğuna inanır və Susanna-nın rolu almaq üçün bəzi əlaqələrdən istifadə etdiyini düşünür. Candy maraqlı bir dinləyici kimi çıxış edərək, sirdaş rolunu bir az çox yaxşı yerinə yetirir. Karen Candy-ni Florida-da saxlamaq qərarına gəlir. Lakin Candy-nin narahatlığına səbəb olaraq, Karen onun etibarsızlığından istifadə edərək, Candy-nin rəqibi Susanna qarşısında artıq məğlub olduğunu iddia edir, çünki Romeo və Juliet-i birlikdə oynayan aktyorlar tez-tez evlənirlər. Romeo və Juliet-in məşqləri zamanı işıqların bir hissəsi yıxılır və Susanna özünü fəda edərək Terry-ni xilas edir, lakin əməliyyat otağında ayağının amputasiya edilməsi bahasına. Növbəti gün Dr. Kreis nəhayət Candy-nin Dr. Leonard-ın yanına qayıtması lazım olduğuna dair cavabını verir və Karen də onu artıq Florida-da saxlamayacaq. Karen Susanna-nı əvəz etmək üçün artıq Nyu-Yorka yola düşüb. Candy azaddır.
