1972-ci ildə, Vyetnam müharibəsi zamanı Cənubi Koreyalı leytenant Çoi Tae-in R-Noktası adlı tərk edilmiş adada itkin düşən əsgərləri tapmaqla vəzifələndirilir. Komandası ilə adaya çatan Çoi keçmiş qırğınların izləri ilə qarşılaşır, partizan bir qadının hücumuna məruz qalır və ölmüş əsgərlərdən sirli radio mesajları almağa başlayır. Tərk edilmiş bir xəstəxanaya sığındıqları zaman isə fövqəltəbii bir varlıq tərəfindən bir-bir ovlanmağa başlayırlar.
