Altı il əvvəl NASA günəş sistemimizdə yadplanetlilərin mövcud ola biləcəyi həqiqətini kəşf etdi. Məlumat toplamaq üçün göndərilən tədqiqat aparatı qayıdarkən Mərkəzi Amerikaya düşdü. Qısa müddət sonra yeni həyat formaları ortaya çıxdı və böyüdü. Fəlakətin qarşısını almaq üçün Meksikanın yarısı infeksiya zonası kimi karantinə alındı. Bu gün Amerika və Meksika ordusu hələ də nəhəng canlıları nəzarətdə saxlamağa çalışır. Amerikalı bir jurnalist istəməyərək də olsa, patronunun sarsılmış vəziyyətdə olan turist qızını tapmağa və onu təhlükəsiz şəkildə ABŞ sərhədinə qədər müşayiət etməyə söz verdikdə hər şey dəyişəcək.
