Max Matheson böyük bir ticarət mərkəzində gecə növbəsində mühafizəçi kimi işə başlayır. Mağazadakı aynalarda tez-tez gənc bir qadının əksini görən Max, əvvəlcə bu qəribə hadisələrin istifadə etdiyi depressiya dərmanlarının yan təsiri olduğunu düşünsə də, işçilərin ard-arda ölməsi onu aynalardakı dəhşətli sirri üzə çıxarmağa və bu şər ruhları dayandırmağa məcbur edir.
