1880-ci illərdə Londonda "Whitechapel Jack" cinayətləri şəhəri dəhşətə qərq etmişdir. Bu vəhşətlərdən bəşəriyyəti xilas edə biləcək yeganə şəxs Müfəttiş Frederick Abberline olur. Psixik qüvvələrə malik olan Abberline, ortağı Godley ilə birlikdə bu qüvvələrin aydın etdiyi dəlilləri izləməyə başlayır. Kinodan çox dəfə ilham almış Whitechapel Jack hadisəsindən əsinlənən bu əsər, komiks materialından ekrana uyğunlaşdırılmış maraqlı bir layihə görünüşündədir.
