Yaponların Çin Xalq Respublikasının keçmiş paytaxtı Nankini işğal etdiyi 6 həftə ərzində amansız hücumlar nəticəsində saysız-hesabsız kişi, qadın və uşaq qətlə yetirilir. Bütün dünya bu hadisədən şoka düşsə də, əksəriyyət susmağa üstünlük verir. Bəziləri isə hərəkətə keçməyi seçir; onlardan biri də alman mühəndis Con Rabe idi.
