Evliliklərində çatlar yaranan Bleyk, həyat yoldaşı Şarlottanı şəhərdən uzaqlaşıb Oreqonun ucqar bir yerindəki uşaqlıq evinə getməyə razı salır. Gecə yarısı fermaya çatdıqları zaman görünməz bir heyvanın hücumuna məruz qalırlar və məxluq evin ətrafında dolaşarkən özlərini içəridə barrikada quraraq qorumağa çalışırlar. Lakin gecə uzandıqca Bleyk qəribə davranmağa başlayır və tanınmaz bir varlığa çevrilir.
