Las Vegas Polis Departamentində darıxdırıcı inzibati işlərdə çalışan və əlavə pul qazanmaq üçün oğurladıqları dövlət qulluğu imtahanı suallarını digər məmurlara satan Waters və Stone adlı iki polis, narkotik əməliyyatı ilə bağlı təsadüfən bir məlumat əldə edirlər. Bu iki dost pulun mənbəyini tapmaq üçün hərəkətə keçirlər. Dəqiqliklə apardıqları araşdırmadan sonra əldə etdikləri ipucları onları düşündüklərindən daha təhlükəli bir vəziyyətin ortasında qoyur.
