Radikal alim Victor Frankenstein və iti zəkalı köməkçisi Igor Strausman bəşəriyyəti ölümsüzlüyə qovuşdurmaq üçün ortaq bir vizyona sahib idilər. Lakin Victorun təcrübələri həddini aşır və bu saplantı dəhşətli nəticələrə gətirib çıxarır. Yalnız Igor dostunu dəlilik həddindən geri döndərə və onu yaratdığı bədheybətin əlindən xilas edə bilər.
