On il əvvəl Luiziananın Honey Island bataqlığında qırx nəfərdən çox insan vəhşicəsinə qətlə yetirilib. Son on ildə sağ qalan yeganə şahid Endryunun yerli əfsanə Viktor Kroulinin bu dəhşətli qırğına görə məsuliyyət daşıması ilə bağlı iddiaları böyük mübahisələrə səbəb olub. Lakin taleyin hökmü ilə o, yenidən faciə yerinə qayıtdıqda, Krouli səhvən dirilir və Endryu keçmişindən gələn bu qaniçən ruhla üz-üzə qalmalı olur.
