Trumbo, rejissorluğu Jay Roach tərəfindən edilən və ssenarisi John McNamara tərəfindən yazılan bioqrafik dram filmidir. İstedadlı ssenarist Dalton Trumbonun həyat hekayəsindən bəhs edən film, 1940-cı illərdə başlayan "cadugər ovu" və bu səbəbdən Hollivudun bir çox ulduzunun üzləşdiyi çətinlikləri ekranlaşdırır. Qara siyahının başında yer alan Trumbo və dostlarının hekayəsi, o dövrdə Amerikada yaşanan repressiyaların Hollivuda qədər necə uzandığını göstərir.
