Müdafiə xəttindən azad edilmiş cəsur və kharizmatlı əsgər Roland Bozz (Farrell) Vyetnamda yerləşdiriləcək gənc əsgərlərdən ibarət bir bölükə qoşulur. Bozz'un başçılığı və hamıya meydan oxuması öz əsgərlərini isyana sövq edir və döyüş zamanı xaos istəməyən komandirlərini çətin vəziyyətə salar. Lakin bölük Vyetnamdan əvvəl son təlim məntəqəsi olan cəhənnəm kimi Tigerland-ə göndərildikdə, Bozz'un liderlik xüsusiyyətləri qrupu birləşdirər... və lağım nəticələr ortaya çıxarır.
