Yaxın gələcəkdə insanların ən böyük ehtiyacı yaşaya biləcəkləri yeni bir planet tapmaqdır. Hərbi Hava Qüvvələrinin pilotu Rik Cansen bəşəriyyət üçün faydalı ola biləcək və gözlənilməz nəticələr doğuracaq hərbi bir təcrübədə iştirak etməyə qərar verir. Plan onu Saturnun ən böyük peyki olan Titanın sərt şəraitində sağ qala biləcək bir super insana çevirməkdir. Lakin layihə irəlilədikcə, onun arxasında duranların daha məkrli məqsədləri olduğu üzə çıxır. Təcrübə nəticəsində Rik, həyat yoldaşı, ailəsi və bəlkə də bütün bəşəriyyətin həyatını təhlükəyə atacaq yan təsirlər meydana gələcək.
