Gənc, yaraşıqlı, uğurlu və varlı bir iş adamı olan Thomas Crown, şəxsiyyətini gizli tutaraq topladığı dəstə ilə bir bank soyğunu planlaşdırır. Qüsursuz şəkildə həyata keçirilən soyğundan sonra özünü heç görməmiş dəstə üzvlərinin payını ödəyib yola salan Crown, pulu İsveçrə bankına yatırır və sığorta şirkətinin ödəniş etməsini gözləməyə başlayır. Hadisəni araşdıran sığorta müfəttişi Vicky Anderson-a təcrübəli detektiv Eddy Malone də kömək edir.
