Bədbəxt keçmişə malik bir mənzil və onun şübhəli sakinləri Roman Polanskinin "Kiracı" adlı trillerinin əsas məkanını təşkil edir. Polanskinin canlandırdığı Trelkovskinin adi məmur həyatı, yeni bir binaya köçməsi ilə birdən-birə dəyişir. Binanın digər sakinləri və əvvəlki kirayəçilərin faciəvi taleyi onun paranoiyasını daha da dərinləşdirir. Görəsən, Trelkovski həqiqəti üzə çıxara biləcək, yoxsa bütün bunlar sadəcə xəyal məhsuludur?
