1960-cı illərdən ilhamlanan retro-fütüristik bir dünyada cərəyan edən Marvel Studios-un “Fantastik Dördlük: İlk Addımlar” filmi, Marvel-in İlk Ailəsini tamaşaçılarla görüşdürür. Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) və Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) indiyədək qarşılaşdıqları ən çətin sınaqla üz-üzə qalırlar. Qəhrəmanlıq vəzifələri ilə ailə bağlarını tarazlıqda saxlamağa çalışan komanda, dünyanı Galactus (Ralph Ineson) adlı acgöz kosmik tanrıdan və onun sirli elçisi Silver Surfer-dən (Julia Garner) qorumaq üçün mübarizə aparır. Lakin Galactus-un bütün planeti və orada yaşayanları məhv etmək planı azmış kimi, hadisələr bir anda daha şəxsi bir xarakter alır.
