Giriş Kapısı
The Door in the Floor
Bir vaxtlar yaxşı əsərlər yazan, lakin sonradan şəxsiyyəti ilə birlikdə ilhamını da itirən roman yazarı Ted Cole (Jeff Bridges) artıq səliqəsiz görünüşlü, qadın düşkünü və alkoqolik bir adama çevrilib. Ted sərxoş halda yaxalandığı üçün sürücülük vəsiqəsini itirib və bu arada ayrılıq barədə düşünmək üçün qaldığı sahil evində onu istədiyi yerə aparacaq bir sürücüyə ehtiyac duyur. Tedin əsl məqsədi isə yalnız sonralar üzə çıxır. O, həyat yoldaşını və gənc oğlanı tez-tez evdə tək qoyur. Eddie qısa müddətdə Marionu sevməyə başlayır. Oğullarının itkisini hələ də qəbul edə bilməyən Marion da gəncə qarşılıq verəndə evdəki tarazlıq tamamilə pozulur.
