Keçmiş yunus təlimçisi Rik O'Barri yunusların insan əsirliyindən xilas edilməli olduğunu anlayanda, yunusların və balinaların sahillərində üzdüyü Taiji kəndinə gəlir. Tikanlı məftillər və qadağa nişanları ilə əhatə olunmuş körfəzin dərinliyində qaranlıq bir həqiqət gizlənirdi. Burada milyon dollarlıq yunus əyləncə sənayesi və yunus əti bazarı mövcud idi. Taijili balıqçılar gecənin qaranlığında görünməmiş bir ov həyata keçirirdilər.
