Mark Wahlberg keçmiş bir snayperdir. Bu işləri çoxdan buraxmasına baxmayaraq, son bir tapşırıq üçün geri dönməsi istənilir. Lakin qısa müddət sonra bu tapşırığın altında yatan böyük həqiqəti anlayır. Əsl məqsəd ABŞ Prezidentinə sui-qəsd təşkil etməkdir. İndi Markın işi əvvəlkindən daha çətindir; çünki bir tərəfdən bu böyük sui-qəsdin arxasındakı həqiqətləri üzə çıxarmağa, digər tərəfdən isə Prezidenti bu dəhşətli təhlükədən qorumağa çalışacaq. Stephen Hunter-in "Point of Impact" romanı əsasında çəkilən filmin rejissoru Antoine Fuqua-dır.
