Londrada yaşayan, evsiz və reabilitasiya dövründə olan keçmiş heroin asılısı Ceyms Bouen küçələrdə mahnı oxuyaraq dolanmağa çalışır. O, küçədə tapdığı xəstə bir pişiyi müalicə etdirmək üçün evinə götürür və bu andan etibarən həyatı tamamilə dəyişir. Bob adını verdiyi pişik sağaldıqdan sonra hər gün onunla birlikdə Londrada avtobusla səyahət edir və küçədə mahnı oxuyarkən ona yoldaşlıq etməyə başlayır.
