İspaniya, 1950-ci illər. Montse-nin aqorafobiyası (açıq məkan qorxusu) onu Madriddəki uğursuz bir mənzilə həbs edib. Real həyatla yeganə əlaqəsi böyüdərkən gəncliyini qurban verdiyi bacısıdır. Lakin bir gün diqqətsiz gənc qonşusu Carlos pilləkənlərdən yıxılaraq onların qapısına qədər sürünür. Biri siçan yuvasına girib. Bəlkə də, oradan heç vaxt çıxa bilməyəcək.
