SAVAŞ YOLU Conson administrasiyasının ən yaxşı və ən parlaq məsləhətçiləri, müdafiə naziri Robert McNamara və xüsusi məsləhətçi Clark Cliffordun Amerikanı Vyetnam müharibəsinə sürükləyən qərarları qəbul etməsindən bəhs edir. Johnson müharibəni qazanmaq üçün bombardmanları artırmağın tərəfdarları ilə sülhə nail olmağın yolunu tapmaq istəyənlər arasında qalmışdı. Digər tərəfdən, uzaq torpaqlarda ölən gənc amerikalılar və geridə qalanların etirazları ölkə xalqını da olduqca yormuşdu.
