Lisənin sonuncu sinif şagirdi Vee (Emma Roberts) "Nerve" adlı, yalnız cəsarət tələb edən tapşırıqlardan ibarət virtual reallıq oyununa qoşulur. Lakin zaman keçdikcə oyun təhlükəli bir həddə çatır və Vee hərəkətlərinin oyunun "izləyiciləri" tərəfindən manipulyasiya edildiyini anlayır.
