İl 2020-dir və Marsa ilk uçuş missiyasında Luke Graham-ın (Don Cheadle, Out of Sight) komandiri olduğu kosmik gəmi qırmızı planetə uğurla eniş edir. Lakin çox keçmədən onlar Marsın sirli mənzərəsinin bütün heyəti məhv edə biləcək dəhşətli və qəribə bir həqiqəti gizlətdiyini anlayırlar. NASA, Graham-dan gələn son mesajdan sonra sağ qalanları xilas etmək üçün Mars Xilasetmə Qrupunu kosmosa göndərir. Əlbəttə, əgər sağ qalan varsa... Komanda üzvləri aralarındakı möhkəm dostluq bağları sayəsində aşılmaz görünən maneələri dəf edərək nəhayət planetə enməyi bacarır və Marsın nəfəs kəsən mənzərələrini kəşf etməyə başlayırlar. "Mission to Mars" döyüş səhnələri və xüsusi effektləri ilə sizi yerinizə mıxlayacaq möhtəşəm bir elmi-fantastik filmdir.
