Filmlərin əfsanəvi qəhrəmanı Danny Trejo-nun baş rolda çəkildiyi bu filmdə, öz dəstəsi tərəfindən xəyanətə uğrayan Machete-nin qisas hekayəsi olduqca sərt və qanlı bir üslubda təqdim olunur. Keçmiş meksikalı federal agent Texasda gizlicə fəhləlik edir. Bir siyasətçi onu çirkli işlərini görməsi üçün işə götürür, lakin Machete çox keçmədən onu işə götürənlərin əsl niyyətinin fərqli olduğunu anlayır.
