Gələcəkdə, müharibənin viran qoyduğu bir dünyada keçən hekayədə, dörd yorğun əsgər müharibə aparan iki qitəni ayıran nəhəng okeanın ortasında yerləşən Sentinel adlı uzaq bir hərbi bazada xidmət edir. Onların xidmət müddəti üç ay əvvəl bitməsinə baxmayaraq, yardım qrupu hələ də gəlməyib. Boş keçən həftələr aylara çevrildikcə paranoiya dərinləşir və əsgərlərin münasibətləri qırılma nöqtəsinə qədər sınağa çəkilir.
