Doktor Kevin Riley (Elon Bailey), həyat yoldaşı Julie (Bethany Joy Lenz) və oğlu Andy ilə birlikdə Baham adalarının cənnət guşələrində tətilə çıxır. Hər şeyin əla başladığı tətil, kirayə götürdükləri qayıqla kimsəsiz bir adaya getdikləri zaman qayığın xarab olması və azuqəsiz adada köməksiz qalmaları ilə kabusa çevrilir. Onları tapan balıqçı Miguel (Barkhad Abdi) Kevinın həyat yoldaşı və uşağını girov götürərək külli miqdarda fidyə tələb edir. Səhhəti pisləşən ailəsini xilas etmək üçün Kevinın çox az vaxtı var.
