Jon Martello həyatındakı hər şeyi bir obyekt kimi görür: evi, avtomobili, ailəsi, kilsəsi və əlbəttə ki, qadınlar. Dostları hər həftəsonu birini yoldan çıxarmağı bacardığı üçün ona "Don Jon" deyirlər. Lakin kompüterdə izlədiyi porno filmlər qədər heç nə onu xoşbəxt etmir. Bu vəziyyətdən narazı olan Don Jon daha dolğun bir cinsi həyat axtarışına çıxır, lakin iki fərqli qadın sayəsində həyatın daha vacib dərslərini və sevgini öyrənir.
