Adam öldürməkdən həbsə düşən Dane, keçmiş bir cinayətkar və vurduğu adamın atası olan Ben Russel ilə tanış olur. Lakin kiçik qəsəbədəki korrupsiya və paranoya bu iki əzəli düşməni gözlənilməz bir əməkdaşlığa sövq edir. Cinayətin acısını çəkən bu iki adama, Dane-in inadkar həyat yoldaşı və Hyustonun quraq ərazilərində donuz saxlayan qəribə bir dedektiv kömək edir. Hər şey bitməmişdən əvvəl bu qəribə komanda xəyal belə edə bilməyəcəkləri qədər böyük, qaranlıq və təhlükəli bir sirri üzə çıxarırlar.
