Senzura komitəsində çalışan Enid, 1980-ci illərdə geniş yayılan "slasher" janrlı video filmlərdəki şiddətli səhnələri kəsməklə məşğuldur. Təsdiqlədiyi filmlərdən birindəki üsullarla silsilə qətl hadisələri törədiləndə Enid sarsılır. Lakin əsl şoku, baxış üçün gələn filmlərdə öz keçmişi ilə bağlı dəhşətli səhnələr gördükdə yaşayır.
