Spiral Creek qəsəbəsində baş verən vəhşi heyvan hücumu sakinlər arasında böyük bir təşviş yaradır. Hadisələrin arxasındakı həqiqəti üzə çıxarmağa çalışan şerif müavini Ren Accord həqiqətə yaxınlaşdıqca oğlu qəfil yoxa çıxır. Bu itki Renin həyatını alt-üst edir və onun reallıq hissi tədricən pozulmağa başlayır. Qəsəbəni bürüyən qorxu kölgəsi Renin çarəsizlik içində zamanla yarışmasına səbəb olur.
