İngiltərədə bir genetik araşdırmalar institutunda insan təbiətindəki zorakılıq və qəzəblə bağlı bəzi təhlükəli təcrübələr aparılmış və bunun nəticəsində 'rage' adını verdikləri bir virus yaradılmışdır. Bir qrup aktivist, alimlərin meymunlara zərər verdiyi əsası ilə təcrübələrin aparıldığı binaya sızaraq, qorunan qəfəslərdə saxlanılan və 'rage' virusuna yoluxdurulmuş meymunlardan birini sərbəst buraxır. Lakin sərbəst qalan meymun qəfəsdən çıxan kimi fəallardan birinə hücum edir və hadisələr idarəolunmaz bir hal alır.
